<p>State graduation requirements and the local requirements apply to all students in Woodrow Wilson High School. To graduate with a state-endorsed diploma, a student must have taken and passed a program which includes the following courses taken over the four years of high school.:</p>

<p>To move from one homeroom grade level to a higher honoree grade level, students in grade 9-12 are required to pass the course requirements ass determined by a credit system. <p><b>LOST OF COURSE CREDIT</b><br />
Based on a normal school year of 180 days, the Camden Board of Education requires a minimum of 162 days in attendance for a secondary student to earn course credit at the end of the year. Course credit will be denied any student with more than eighteen (18) days unexcused absences. Students who do not have the required attendance will not receive course credit and will jeopardize their graduation dates. <p>All parents of Woodrow Wilson High School students are invited to attend the PTSO meetings which are held each month. Parents should contact a Community/School Coordinator at the high school for meeting dates. The PTSO is composed of parents, teachers, and students who function as an advisory group to provide suggestions/recommendations for improvement of school programs and to provide volunteer services for school activities.</p>
<p><strong>PARENT CONFERENCES</strong></p>
<p>Parents may request a conference with their child’s teacher any time during the school year. Parents are to please call the Guidance Office for an appointment. Preferably, the conference is to be held at times which do not interrupt instruction. Teachers may, at times, find it necessary to request special conferences with a parent. Please, determine to make every effort to meet with your child’s each if you receive such a request.</p>
<p><strong>QUARTERLY REPORT CARD DISTRIBUTION</strong></p>
<p>Report card distribution/conference are held in cooperation with the Parent/Teacher/Student Organization (P.T.S.O.) to provide an opportunity for teachers to share class expectations/procedures with parent, as well ad to provide parents with a personal progress report. The conferences are usually scheduled twice a year at the conclusion of the first and second marking periods. If your child does not receive a report card, please contact the school. <p>The grading system used in The Camden City School District is a system whereby the letter grades are determined by a percentage value.</p>
<p>A=92% and above Excellent<br />
B=83% to 91% Above Average<br />
C=74% to 82% Average<br />
D=65% to 73% Passing/Below Average<br />
F= BELOW 65% Failing</p>
<h2>Grade Point Average (GPA)</h2>
<p>The formula is: Total value attempted earned divided by the total credits.</p>
<p><strong>Class Rank:</strong> A student&#8217;s academic standing in relationship to his/her classmates is determined by computing the grade point average (GPA) at the junior year and the end of the first semester of the senior year.</p>
